Were this a dating blog I would rail against women who used an extremely photoshopped image as a profile picture for a dating site. I would say that this is unethical and false advertising. Ultimately it didn’t help her case.
But since this is a food and travel blog I won’t.
Last Saturday night I went to Señor Taco by myself. Three steak tacos and a beer for $22 is a good deal by Singapore standards.
The beef was a little dry, but the tacos tasted like Mexican street tacos at four times the price. The habanero sauce was really spicy, much spicier than the birds eye chilies which are served across this island every day.

Pork belly banh mi sandwich
While waiting for a date last Saturday, I had this sandwich at Viet Baguette near Central in Clarke Quay. At $7.50 it was more expensive than Nam Nam’s similar sandwich.
The bread was fine, there was pork pâte on the bun along with sliced carrots, cilantro and pork floss. I’d have to say Nam Nam’s is better, but this banh mi is decent.
