A colleague had been talking about pork belly the other day so I headed over to The Beast, the southern American restaurant near Bugis. It’s pretty close to the Sultan Mosque, now that I think about it.
That is a work of art! Cheese mixed with red peppers and then garnished with two strips of candied bacon.
I started off with a bacon shot. Bacon flavored bourbon served with a garnish of….bacon.
Freshly Squeezed IPA has a nice citrus note.
The buffalo wings with Insane level sauce were great. They were spicy as fuck and I’m suffering for eating them today.
Hipster American bar food does not come cheap in Singapore.
