After that beef rice bowl I ate last Saturday, I was still hungry. Baker & Cook, a bakery was on my way home, so I ate this delicious tart.
They had sold out of their spinach and feta tart, which sounded better, as much as I love bacon.
I’ll have to return for breakfast. They make all kind of nice treats here. It’s just outside Bugis Junction.
Starbucks’ pastries are usually decent. Sometimes they make a really good one, like their chocolate orange tart.
There is a nice graham cracker-like crust. Under the top layer of delicious dark chocolate is a layer of something like orange fudge. The dark chocolate works very well with the tart orange.
The seeds on top were tart. Are they seeds of paradise! I’m not sure.
Anyway, it’s a good pastry.
